Visit the picturesque village of Solva harbour where it is possible to go sailing, fishing or just enjoy the harbour. Or perhaps swimming off the quay when the tide is in or the sandy beach when the tide is out, the harbour an ideal place for children to swim and explore. Solva has a well stocked grocers (gas available), post office, newsagent, numerous galleries and shops, pubs, restaurants, and cafes.
St. Davids is Europe’s smallest city. Explore the Cathedral (hosts international concerts and recitals) and the Bishops Palace, play golf at Whitesands Beach or shop and grab a bite to eat with many shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants to suit all budgets. St. Davids also has a cashpoint, supermarket, Post Office. The nearest garage is Ocean Haze, which also has a shop, supplies gas, and is on the way to St. Davids. Haverfordwest is the main town approximately 12 miles away. There are many other beaches (in particular Newgale & Whitesands) in the area within a few minutes by car. If you enjoy active pursuits the area offers coasteering, kayaking, surfing, windsurfing, rock climbing, orienteering, walking, and with its abundance of wildlife bird watching is also a fantastic way to spend your time.
